Community involvement is an integral part of corporate culture here at OLN Inc. Our company has contributed to projects including Operation Smile, Toys for Tots, and the Andrew Jackson Police Youth Camp. On November 10, this year the OLN Inc team had the opportunity to participate in the American Diabetes Association’s annual Step Out Walk for the forth year in a row.
Over 25 million Americans have diabetes, and with no sign of those numbers waning finding a way to prevent and cure diabetes is paramount. Our CEO has been personally affected by his father’s diagnosis and as such is committed to that cause. Jessica Honey, one of our team members, wrote about her experience, “Diabetes runs in my family so the Step Out Walk is definitely important to me. It’s my opportunity to participate in raising money for a cure.” The OLN Inc team looks forward to next year’s walk as well as finding other ways to participate in civil engagement.
