On January 21st, the staff of OLN Inc joined up with the nonprofit Project CURE help assist with a growing need. Project CURE collects new, surplus and overstock medical supplies, sorts the items, and ships them to almost 100 countries including North Korea, Cuba, China, Russia, Vietnam, numerous countries in Africa and South America, and nearly every nation in Central Asia.It was an eye opening experience for the OLN Inc staff. We got to literally be hands on with packing the medical supplies to be sent out to areas many of us had only seen secondhand. We saw just how vast the need is in so many areas less fortunate than our own. Project CURE does incredible work. They seem to have a massive warehouse full of supplies, so the need is surely greater than most of us had assumed.
